My son (3.5) loves the Octonaut series and loves these books. There are two types of Octonaut books, some are basically simplified retellings of the tv episodes and these bigger books are more fanciful fictional stories using the same characters.The cartoon is more about learning about real sea creatures and their habitats or attributes. These books are very imaginative like friendly sea monsters and upside down frown fish. My son loves both.
the usual- a charming, adorable book from Meomi. There are lots of clever little details that will appeal to adults reading the books to their children. For instance, in the "underground" view on one page, there are chipmunks and moles underground...along with someone riding a sandworm (Dune reference). These books are readable on the Kindle also but the text is a little small.
We love these books. My boys (3 & 5) find the original books to be more engaging than the ones based off the television series (which we also love.) The whimsy of these books, the beautiful artwork, the detail on the pages, all completely entrances them. Great books.
Another fun and beautifully illustrated book by Meomi. My kids are big fans of the octonauts and have all the books. This one is definitely a favorite.
The illustrations are gorgeous. The text is a little boring, but the beauty of the book makes up for that.

A neat peak into the past and evolution with living fossils! My 3 year old loves all things Octonaut and I am so glad they are so educational. I love them too! Fabulous for all ages!
