Having the eyes of a professional tax expert to effectively navigate the murky waters of money matters is so encouraging. And I’ve been licensed to dispense financial advice since 1995. What Bryan Bloom shares sheds light on so many blind spots so many financial professionals unknowingly suffer from which in turn cause problems for their clients in the future. I appreciate Bryan for his expertise, his friendship and his skill at simplifying difficult concepts.

"Confessions of a CPA - The Capital Equivalent Value of Life Insurance" is an original treatise on a tax-efficient strategy for building wealth off the radar screen of the IRS; a strategy virtually unknown by the general public and their financial advisors, but long utilized by Fortune 500 CEOs, Washington politicians and their wealthy donors. Kudos to Bryan Bloom for revealing their secrets in a manner easily grasped by the average reader (despite the intimidating title -- what else would you expect from a CPA?). I've handed out a number of these books to my own clients, so that mom and pop can begin to understand how to safely and legally set the stage for a future free of the grasping hands of the government and the volatility and uncertainty of ordinary financial planning.

Finally, a real explanation of the lifelong economic return of owning permanent life insurance. It's clear people have been led to believe life insurance is a poor investment and their only hope for retirement security is putting their money into 401(k)s and the Market.Once the tax-free income from life insurance is realized, as explained in this book, it becomes clear how we should be saving our money.A must-read for anyone who wants to know the truth.

Excellent and honest analysis. Most people look at simply the cash accumulation of whole life insurance and compare that to an investment account, and life insurance doesn’t look very good. But taking cash flow in retirement using a policy as collateral, produces a very attractive cash flow. As a very experienced and credentialed CPA, Bryan adds a perspective that few financial professionals have even considered. A very enlightening and interesting read.

Great content makes up for the poor delivery/writing at times. As it stands though, it provides a great mathematical and concise analysis demonstrating the dangers of just trying to accumulate a big pile of money for retirement. Instead, it shows how what really matters is creating as large as possible of a tax-free income stream available for the rest of your life.

I’ve read all 3 books written by Bryan Bloom. They are all great, but this is clearly the best. He describes how to maximize your money and only pay tax once on each dollar. This book shows you how to build generational wealth. I highly recommend it.

This book teaches the difference between Wealth and Math. Math is just numbers on a page, Wealth is how lifestyle is created. If you want more income in retirement, less risk than you are likely experiencing today and want to accomplish all of that with no change in present lifestyle, this book is for you. Less is more as you will absolutely see. A must read.

Loved the book. Great facts, easy to follow logic. I read the first two and Bryan has really out done himself with his third book.Everybody should read this if they are concerned with the government and its ability to mess with our retirement.
