Both maps arrived in a decent plastic tube, but both maps were damaged - looked exactly like they were crushed by a hand when putting them in the tube, leaving repeating creases across the maps when unrolled.
The sides of the map (the white part near the edges) were a little bit untidy when it arrived. But, nontheless makes a sweet thing to hang on the wall.
great map of the Korea’s
This is a superlative map in usable size (any larger and it would have been too unwieldy) for occasional reference of locations visited while in the service of my nation (USAF). National Geographic continues to be my favorite mapmaker!
The edges are terrible and there are creases all down the middle. Whoever is stuffing these in the tubes is obviously doing a horrible job. Don't order this map!
This was a Christmas present for a Korean War vet in my family. He LOVED it. I'm a map lover as well, so it was a double win.
Just what we needed. Could wish some of the names were in English but it is a Korean map.
I purchased 5 maps from amazon. This is the second one I've received damaged. The upper left side is wrinkled and torn.Honestly I'm sick of returning items like this and will wind up trying to live with it. I just wish there was better quality control. The map was tubed and boxed so there is no reason for the damage. Someone should carefully look at the map before sending it out.The map itself is ok but wrinkle and tear is bothersome.
